Tipper Reveals 'Gore-y' Details about Ex-Veep's Manhood
Ex-second lady Tipper Gore revealed way more than anyone needed to know on Sunday about her love life with hubby Al, right down to the gory details about the condition of her spouse's manhood.
The couple famous for the longest televised kiss in political convention history was addressing a book convention at New York City's Javits Center.
Also on hand was author Jean Auel, who spoke about her new caveman novel, along with writer Pat Conroy, who spoofed "The Corrections" with a twist of the best seller's title.
At that point, according to the New York Daily News, Tipper chimed in:
"You spoke about 'The Erections,' Pat. Jean wrote about a Homo erectus, I believe."
Gesturing toward Al, Tipper continued, "I just want you to know he's not stiff."
The former veep blushed at his wife's double entendre but then decided to go with the flow.
"I think our time is up," he joked to the crowd.
As the laughter grew louder, Tipper tried to get the conversation back on track with a plug for the Gores' own book due out this fall, a collection of photos titled "The Spirit of Family."
But Al sensed the crowd was no longer interested in reading material. "They're not hearing anything you're saying," he told his randy wife. "They're wondering what you meant."
