What is the most expensive schoolbook in the world?
On April 19 2006 a schoolbook, or exercise book if you like, sold for an educated £126,500.00 or about $226,000.00 USD.
So what made the world's most expensive schoolbook so special?
The schoolbook was titled 'My Anthology' and among other things contained a drawing titled 'The Walrus And The Carpenter'.
So, you must be thinking it is the early work of some famous artist , right?
Well, you're almost right. The schoolbook belonged to John Lennon when he was 12 years old and may just provide insight into the song 'I Am The Walrus'.
