The Sugar Loaf is one of Rio's most famous landmarks and it is, in fact, a complex that includes two hills reached by cable cars which have been inaugurated in 1912 ( the old open-air cable car that was used in the '30s can be seen on display up there ). This hills' complex plus the cable car have become a trademark of the city The shortest hill (220 m) is named Morro da Urca, the first stop of the cable cars. there you will find the restaurant, and the amphitheater where there use to happen music shows.
