Members of the Hollywood elite who supported Saddam Hussein's reign of terror in Iraq, have formed "Stars Concerned United Mightily" (SCUM) and pledged to make their sentiments known at next year's ceremony.
Among the SCUM are Rosie O'Donnell, Sean Penn, Martin Sheen, Barfra Streisand, Eminan, Beastie Boys, Dixie Chicks, "Hanoi Jane" Fonda, George Clooney, Susan Sarandon, Ben Affleck, Michelle Pfeiffer, Alec Baldwin, David Gephin, Ed Asner, Michael Moore and Jessica Lange.
Spokesman Ima Lefty released a photograph of SCUM's proposed replacement for the OSCAR statuette.
John Q. Public, president of "Until Safe Again" (USA), dismissed the SCUM effort as yet another transparent and desperate effort to get publicity at any cost. "These people make their living by making believe and we're supposed to listen to them? Get real."
