ACLU "CROSSED" OUT
ACLU "CROSSED" OUT By: G.Marnier - SatireNewsService In the aftermath of their successful efforts to render the American Constitution secondary by having the Ten Commandments removed from the Court House in Montgomery, Alabama, the American Civil Liberties Union has again focused on opposition to placing any and all religious symbols on all government property, particularly military cemeteries. At a press conference held on the steps of the U. S. Supreme Court, ACLU public relations spokesman Tim Dimbrainy said: "This is a First Amendment matter. Tax money shouldn't be spent glorifying a religion. Those people are dead. They don't have any protection under the Constitution. Separation of Church and State must prevail." Dimbrainy's associate, M.T. Head, who was holding a photograph of a military cemetery, told SNS: "We are for all rights. We oppose limiting access to child pornography on the internet. We think singing "God bless America" divides kids on matters of religion, schools shouldn't make students stand when reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and they shouldn't be allowed to say "Under God". Furthermore, government spying on suspected terrorists is a violation of a terrorist's personal freedom. Why, we even came to the defense of the American Nazi Party when they set fire to our office in New York." At this point, Court guards and the D. C. Metropolitan police ordered Dimbrainy and Head to exit the property and as they walked to their Mercedes, a police officer reminded them that, "The military buried in those cemeteries died for your right to make asses of yourselves."
